- Introduce yourself on The Drawing Board. Tell us what you draw, what you want to improve, and what you’re working toward.
- Post one piece of artwork. Sketch, WIP, study or finished piece. It all counts.
- Leave one useful comment for another artist. Be specific, constructive and encouraging.

MAKE YOUR FIRST POST EASY.
You don’t need a masterpiece. Post something real.
Try this:
“Hey Squad, I’m [NAME]. I’ve been drawing for [TIME]. I love drawing [SUBJECT / STYLE]. The biggest thing I want to improve right now is [GOAL]. Here’s something I’m currently working on.”
Attach a piece of art and you’re done.
HOW WE GIVE FEEDBACK
1. Start specific. Say what is working.
2. Stay useful. If something feels off, explain what you’re seeing instead of just saying you don’t like it.
3. Respect intent. Help the artist make their drawing stronger, not turn it into your drawing.
4. Ask questions. Sometimes the best critique starts with understanding what the artist was trying to accomplish.
5. Human-made art only. AI-generated artwork, AI-generated images, and AI-generated or AI-altered artwork are not permitted in Comic Art Squad. Post work you created and skills you are developing yourself.
